A recent Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) found the Telford & Wrekin Council’s adult social care services to be “exceptional”. They said that:

Telford has exceptional operational relationships of adult social service delivery and partnerships and is in a strong position to position itself as the leader in population health, economic restoration and maximizing the supply of inclusion. digital at the local level.”.

This position is at the heart of this work to improve outcomes for residents of Telford and Wrekin through a partnership working on-site through the Telford & Wrekin Integrated Place Partnership (TWIPP).

The incumbent will be responsible for putting in place effective arrangements to ensure that TWIPP can achieve its objective. This will include among others:

  • Support the development of TWIPP’s strategic plan and its implementation;
  • Lead and report to TWIPP on the progress of the plan and the results achieved;
  • Act as the main authority contact for TWIPP; and
  • Make recommendations and support the CEO and Directors to influence and lead the work around the place and the Integrated Care System (ICS).
