Lyon Real Estate is celebrating its 75th anniversary at its annual virtual MarTech 2021 marketing and technology conference on October 7, with speakers, tools and resources. Lyon continues to engage in the Sacramento area, providing an additional $ 75,000 in grants to local and regional groups to celebrate the 75-year milestone.

Since 2015, the Lyon Cares Foundation has paid more than $ 1.2 million in grants to local associations dedicated to improving the lives of others.

The Lyon Cares Foundation aims to inspire and offer time, talent and treasures to local organizations working for a better world.

The non-profit organizations that have received grants for the 75th anniversary are:

Through the Lyon Cares Foundation and individual programs at the office level, each Lyon office provides grants to worthy organizations across Sacramento that reinforce Lyon’s vision to inspire and empower care and kindness in the community. community.

Lyon has recognized the need to go the extra mile with this year’s grant campaign, after a difficult time for charities whose services have been needed more than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Thank you for your contribution of three grants of $ 5,000 to Shriners Hospitals for Children,” said Alan Anderson, director of development. “Your donation will have an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of the children we treat for acute burns, scars from any cause, spinal cord injury, chest wall abnormalities, bladder and bowel disorders. and a wide range of complex orthopedic conditions. In addition to the grants given to local associations, Lyon Real Estate is organizing its 11th annual Coat Drive, Share the Warmth, collecting winter clothes throughout the month of October. Since the creation of the collection in 2012, Lyon has donated 72,776 coats to local associations thanks to donations from agents, employees and citizens.
